El Al announced Wednesday that it is preparing to resume flights between Tel Aviv and Dubai during November, ending an eight-month suspension of the route.
The carrier halted service on the line following the start of Operation Swords of Iron, when Israeli airlines were barred from operating flights to Dubai.
Under the current plan, El Al will operate at least two daily flights on the Tel Aviv–Dubai route once service resumes.
The airline clarified that the restart is not yet final. Resumption of flights is contingent on receiving the necessary approvals from the relevant Israeli government authorities.
If approvals come through as expected, November will mark El Al's return to the Tel Aviv–Dubai route after the eight-month freeze.
