Argentine President Javier Milei issued an extraordinary public endorsement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while in New York for the UN General Assembly. In sweeping praise of the Israeli leader, Milei declared that "Netanyahu is an exceptional leader with geopolitical vision, who also understands the connection to the cultural struggle like very few people in the world, except for Marco Rubio, Donald Trump, or Scott Bessent."
The Argentine president went further, emphasizing what he sees as the critical importance of Netanyahu's continued tenure in office. Milei stated explicitly: "Without Netanyahu, I have doubts whether Israel would exist today, would continue to exist."
