The crime in the Arab sector: a man in his 40s was shot dead this morning (Sunday) in a shooting incident that took place in Kafr Qara, when he was found without signs of life. MDA medics and paramedics who were called to the scene performed CPR on the injured person, but a short time later they had to pronounce him dead.
The police stated that police forces from the Iron station began investigating the circumstances of the incident, alongside the collection of evidence and findings from the scene by the forensic investigators.
During last night it was also reported that a 57-year-old woman was found lifeless in her home on Sderot Dov Hoz in Holon. MDA medics and paramedics who were called to the scene found her without signs of life and pronounced her dead on the spot.
Following the incident, Holon station police officers and the scene investigators of the Tel Aviv district arrived at the scene and began investigative operations and the collection of evidence. The deputy commander of the Ayalon area, sub-superintendent Shlomi Ben Ziman, conducted an assessment of the situation at the scene and the investigation was assigned to the Ayalon area's anti-crime unit. It was also said that the background to the incident was apparently criminal.
