400 Yeshiva Bochurim Gather in Paris for Bein Hazmanim Siyum

Around 400 yeshiva bochurim gathered in Paris for a siyum marking the end of bein hazmanim yeshivos, in a gathering organized by Bnei Hayeshivos–Toras Yaakov and Lomdei Torah Feldrin. The event, held at the Ohel Moshe kehillah under the leadership of Rav Shimon Tibi, brought together students who spent their bein hazmanim in learning and featured divrei chizuk from roshei yeshiva and rabbanim ahead of the winter zman.

The bochurim were served a seudah, and the gathering was attended by leading French rabbanim: Rav Yitzchak Katz, head of the Yad Mordechai institutions and a leading figure in the French Torah world; Rav Yehuda Katz, rosh yeshiva; Rav Yitzchak Shneur, rosh yeshiva of Or Torah; Rav Dahan, rosh yeshiva; and Rav Gaz, rav of Ohel Moshe.

Rav Yechiya Tubul, av beis din of Lyon, delivered divrei chizuk to the assembled bochurim.

During the evening, Bnei Hayeshivos–Toras Yaakov distributed hundreds of winter coats to yeshiva students ahead of the winter zman. The distribution, the first of its kind in the French community, was intended to ease the financial burden on bochurim and their families as they prepare for the colder months.

A new fund was announced at the gathering to support French yeshiva bochurim both in France and in Eretz Yisrael. The fund will provide assistance before Yomim Tovim, distribute suits and clothing to bochurim, and run other chesed projects aimed at allowing the students and their families to focus on limud haTorah without financial strain.

Bnei Hayeshivos–Toras Yaakov operates year-round for French-speaking yeshiva students in France and Israel, under the guidance of rabbanim and roshei yeshiva. The organization runs learning programs, bein hazmanim yeshivos, kinus chizuk gatherings, scholarship programs, Shabbos retreats, and personal assistance in various areas.

The event was organized by Rav Meir Getta, chairman of Bnei Hayeshivos–Toras Yaakov and head of the Bnei Aliyah bein hazmanim yeshiva network, and Rav Yaakov Tuati, head of Lomdei Torah Feldrin.

The gathering concluded with the bochurim leaving strengthened for the winter zman, carrying with them the divrei chizuk of the rabbanim and a sense of the community's support for their avodas haTorah.
