Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir

National Security Minister and Otzma Yehudit chairman Itamar Ben-Gvir addressed his relationship with Rabbis in an interview on the 'Shmoneh Efes Efes' program, hosted by Yaki Adamker and Yisrael Cohen on Kol Beramah radio. In his remarks, he emphasized that he maintains a clear line between political disputes and preserving the honor of rabbanim.

Ben-Gvir stressed that he is careful not to speak against Rabbis, even when harsh words are said about him.

"First of all, I have a rule: I don't speak about Rabbis. Let them say about me what they want, I respect rabbanim. I take Rabbis out of this story, they're not politicians," Ben-Gvir said.

The minister added: "I won't say one word about the Rishon LeTzion, and not one word about any Rabbi - Let them say about me what they want, I won't say anything."

In his remarks, Ben-Gvir sought to distinguish between Rabbis and elected officials, emphasizing that political disputes should be conducted with politicians while preserving the Rabbis' honor.
