190 New Soldiers Swear In to IDF's Haredi 'Hashmonaim' Brigade
In a significant milestone for the IDF’s growing Haredi fighting force, 190 recruits of the second intake of the 'Hashmonaim' Brigade officially declared their loyalty in a swearing-in ceremony held yesterday. Lieutenant Colonel A., commander of the brigade, addressed the new soldiers, stating: “You are professional, determined, and God-fearing. You will carry out a meaningful role in defending our people.” The 'Hashmonaim' Brigade, established to integrate ultra-Orthodox men into full combat roles while maintaining religious frameworks, has seen a marked increase in interest amid the ongoing war.
