3-Month-Old Infant in Critical Condition After Losing Consciousness

A three-month-old infant lost consciousness this morning while in the care of a babysitter in Netivot, prompting an emergency medical response. The child was transported to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon in critical condition. United Hatzalah medics responded to the scene and immediately began life-saving resuscitation efforts on the infant. The medical teams worked quickly to stabilize the child before transport. Medics Nehorai Ben Hamo and Elchanan Vazana, who are serving in United Hatzalah's national civil service program, along with medic Yehuda Reichman, reported: "We performed resuscitation procedures on him, and he was subsequently evacuated while resuscitation efforts continued en route to Barzilai Hospital in critical condition."
