Aegean Airlines to Resume Flights to Israel Starting July 14

Greece’s Aegean Airlines announced it will resume flights to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport on July 14, marking an earlier-than-expected return of service amid strong regional travel demand. Beginning Monday, Aegean will operate direct routes connecting Israel to Athens, Crete, and Larnaca. Additional destinations—including Mykonos and Thessaloniki—are set to follow in the coming weeks. The move comes after high-level meetings between Israel’s Transportation Minister Miri Regev, her Greek counterpart Christos Dimas, and Aegean chairman Eftichios Vassilakis during Regev’s recent visit to Cyprus and Greece.
