After Operation Rising Lion, Iranians hold funerals in Yazd

Iran held funerals this morning in the city of Yazd for those killed in Israeli airstrikes in recent days. Among the dead were civilians and military personnel struck in the early wave of Operation Rising Lion. According to Iranian media, preparations are underway for the burial of top military brass killed in the opening strike, including Major General Hossein Salami, Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri, and IRGC Aerospace Force commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh. These figures were among the most senior in Iran's military establishment and their deaths mark a significant blow to Tehran's strategic leadership.
