Ambassador Yechiel Leiter released an update on the condition of his son Neriah, who was critically wounded in a terror ramming attack last week at the Maccabim checkpoint.
"My family and I are grateful to everyone who is praying for us and supporting us during this time," the ambassador said. "Neriah's life still hangs in the balance, but we have seen some encouraging signs and we are holding onto them with hope."
"We believe in the power of prayer, that Hashem hears prayers and can heal even when healing seems impossible," he continued. "Alongside my deep gratitude to all who care, I ask that prayers for Neriah include wishes for a complete recovery for all who have been seriously wounded by terrorists."
"Neriah and his friends are the heroes who ensure that we can persevere and prevail in the struggle against those who sow murder and destruction. This is a battle for the future of civilization, no less."
