Anti-Hamas militias launch military operation across Gaza Strip

Militias opposing Hamas have launched a comprehensive military operation against Hamas throughout the Gaza Strip. Ghassan al-Dheini, commander of the Popular Forces Militia in Rafah, announced the operation named "Deterrence of Aggression" in cooperation with other Popular Forces militias. The operation follows Hamas's refusal to disarm and failure to comply with an ultimatum on the matter. Armed fighters were documented in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
