Assassination target escapes Ain Saadeh strike, Lebanese Forces member injured

The intended target of the Israeli strike on an apartment in Ain Saadeh, east Beirut, left the building shortly before it was hit, according to unofficial Lebanese sources. The target had moved into the third-floor apartment only that morning. Biar Maouch, a senior member of the Lebanese Forces party living on the second floor, was injured in the strike. Four wounded have been reported so far. Lebanese sources note the precision of the strike on the Maronite project building in Block C.
