Attorney General opposes Appointments Law while challenging same committee's Mossad pick
Israel's Attorney General sharply opposed the Appointments Law today, which would cancel the Grunis Committee for senior appointments, arguing it "abolishes the state-oriented and professional character of the civil service." Two hours earlier, she submitted an urgent request to the Supreme Court to override that same committee's decision appointing Roman Gofman as the next head of the Mossad.
