"So before the inquiry, and the deep investigation of what happened on the flight and whether there was advance warning and where the Mossad was in this incident, one thing is clear: once again, for the who-knows-how-many-th time, Israelis prove what kind of people we are," Caspit wrote.
His remarks come against the backdrop of the extraordinary incident aboard the Fly Dubai flight from Dubai to Israel, which was diverted mid-flight and landed in Saudi Arabia. Various reports have circulated regarding what transpired in the cockpit and the circumstances that led to the landing, with details of the case still under investigation.
Caspit chose to focus on the response of the Israelis during the incident, comparing it to other cases in which Israelis acted during emergencies.
