Ben Gvir’s Party to Break Coalition Ranks

The far-right Otzma Yehudit party is expected to vote today in favor of a bill proposed by Yulia Malinovsky of the opposition Yisrael Beitenu, breaking coalition discipline. Channel 12’s Dafna Liel reports the move is a calculated signal to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid growing tensions over an impending hostage deal with Hamas. The bill seeks to restrict the provision of essential services, such as water, fuel, and electricity, to hostile entities.
