Ben-Gvir says he cannot discriminate between protests and Temple Mount prayers
National Security Minister Ben-Gvir told the High Court of Justice that while he believes it's a mistake to allow demonstrations and prayers during wartime, he cannot discriminate if protests are permitted. "If demonstrations are allowed on Kaplan Street — there is no choice but to also allow prayers on the Temple Mount and at the Western Wall," he stated during a hearing about the number of worshippers allowed at the Western Wall following permission granted for a Sabbath demonstration.
