BREAKING: Police Sergeant Yaniv Elkayam Killed in Line of Duty

The Israel Police and Central District announced with deep sorrow the death of Sgt. Maj. Yaniv Elkayam, 42, who was killed in the line of duty this morning in Netanya. A resident of the city, Elkayam is survived by his wife, four children, mother, and five siblings. He joined the Netanya station’s municipal policing unit in 2016 and later became a shift commander in the patrol division. He died while carrying out police operations. May his memory be a blessing.
