Coalition deal under discussion includes Attorney General split, override clause, October elections

A coalition deal is being discussed in Israel's government that would give the right wing the split of the Attorney General's office and an override clause. The ultra-Orthodox parties would receive the Daycare Law and the Basic Law: Torah Study, at least in a first reading. Prime Minister Netanyahu would get elections scheduled for the end of October as part of the arrangement.
