Committee Member Disputes State Attorney Claims Over Land Authority Appointment

Idit Solberg, a member of the selection committee for appointing the Director of the Israel Land Authority, has sent a sharply worded letter to the State Attorney's Office disputing claims made about her conduct. Solberg asserts the office attributed "false facts and assumptions" to her and made incorrect statements in court regarding her voting conduct on the committee. She also rejects allegations of conflict of interest, stating that the committee's legal adviser and the Ministry of Housing's legal adviser examined these matters before her appointment. Solberg has demanded her letter be forwarded to the judges reviewing the case.
