Defense Minister orders forceful action against all Gaza launches, including balloons and kites

Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to act forcefully against any launching of balloons, kites, or drones from Gaza toward border communities. The directive includes targeting Hamas leaders responsible for launches, evacuating neighborhoods from which launches occur, and striking terrorist infrastructure. Katz stated: "We regard every launch as an act of war in every respect, and anyone who organizes, launches, or enables these launches will be dealt with immediately and with the utmost severity." He emphasized that balloons, kites, and drones will all be treated equally, with or without explosives.
