Egyptian, Qatari, and U.S. Envoys Push for Gaza Ceasefire

The Egyptian channel Al-Qahira Al-Akhbariya reports, citing Egyptian sources, that there is optimism about the chances of success for the Egyptian and Qatari mediation efforts, and that progress is being made toward resolving points of disagreement in the ceasefire negotiations. The channel reports that intensive efforts are underway under the auspices of Egyptian intelligence chief Hassan Rashad, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, and U.S. envoy Wittkof toward a ceasefire in Gaza.
