Erdoğan compares Israel's actions to Hitler's concentration camps

Turkish President Erdoğan compared Israel's actions in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon—which he termed "genocide"—to Hitler's concentration camps and Pol Pot's killing fields. In his remarks, Erdoğan stated that "the same mistake is being repeated in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon" as when the world stood by during past genocides. He criticized the international community for failing to demonstrate sufficient resolve to prevent what he called massacres, saying "the world is not responding as required to the policy of the genocide network, which recognizes no rule, law, principle, value, or boundary."
