Erdoğan hints at Jerusalem conquest in speech marking 955th anniversary of Battle of Manzikert
Turkish President Erdoğan delivered a speech in Ahlat commemorating the 955th anniversary of the Battle of Manzikert, hinting at the conquest of Jerusalem. "The road to Manzikert was opened from Ahlat. The connection of Anatolia was forged in Ahlat. Jerusalem and Istanbul were conquered by the power of faith that took shape in Ahlat," Erdoğan stated. He added: "If everyone has their own agenda, rest assured that we also have an agenda, we have a plan. And most importantly, Allah, Lord of the Worlds, also has a plan. And in the end, this plan will prevail. The merchants of blood will lose. Those who seek to drag our region into instability and the perpetrators of genocide will lose."
