Benny Tziper, a journalist and former senior figure at Haaretz, has spoken sharply against the Israeli left, accusing it of a prolonged attempt to distance the public from tradition and Jewish identity.
Speaking on Doron Cohen's evening program on Galei Yisrael radio, Tziper addressed what he sees as deep shifts in Israeli society in recent years and the conceptual gap, he argues, of the left-wing camp. "They still live in a world of the past, they don't understand that this thing has run its course and that the demographics have changed," he said.
