French container ship passes through Strait of Hormuz as France blocks UN force resolution

A French-owned container ship has passed through the Strait of Hormuz for the first time since the conflict began, according to French news agency reports. Separately, The New York Times reports that France, China, and Russia are blocking a UN Security Council resolution regarding the use of force to open the Strait of Hormuz.
