Grave-Digging Controversy in Yehud

The Chief Rabbis have issued a letter to Aura Real Estate and the Atra Kadisha organization: “In light of reports indicating a possible ancient Jewish cemetery at the site in Yehud, we have decided to go out and examine the situation ourselves. At this stage, construction work must be halted.” Despite the letter, workers continue digging at the site, disturbing what are believed to be ancient Jewish graves.
