Hamas marks first anniversary of spokesperson Abu Obaida's elimination

Hamas is commemorating the first anniversary of the elimination of Khadifa al-Kahlut, known as Abu Obaida, who served as spokesperson for Hamas's military wing for approximately twenty years. He was killed one year ago today. Abu Obaida was personally responsible for distributing videos against Israel, including footage of hostages. Hamas published a photo of a keffiyeh with the red triangle, a central symbol in Abu Obaida's publications throughout the war.
