Hamas Police Officer Abducted by Anti-Hamas Militia in Southern Gaza

A Hamas police officer with the rank equivalent to colonel, Sabri Abd al-Aal, was abducted early yesterday morning in southern Gaza Strip by anti-Hamas militias, according to Gaza sources. He is reportedly being interrogated by Ghassan al-Dahini, who heads militias opposed to Hamas in the south of the Strip. Also detained with him is Nashat Za'arb, a member of the "Al-Aqsa" security company. Sources indicate that interrogations conducted by al-Dahini's group use unconventional methods, and detainees do not always return.
