Hamas publishes confession video of alleged collaborator in commander assassination

Hamas's Internal Security apparatus released an 8-minute video showing confessions of Mustafa Mahana, identified as a collaborator who assisted Israeli intelligence in the elimination of Izz al-Din al-Haddad, a Hamas military wing commander. According to the video, Mahana was recruited in November 2023 via Facebook and provided real-time intelligence that al-Haddad was in a white Skoda vehicle fleeing after a building strike, leading to a follow-up attack on the vehicle. Mahana, who reportedly served as an officer in Preventive Security Intelligence, was executed by Hamas in early July.
