Hezbollah Confirms Death of Radwan Force Commander in Israeli Strike

Hezbollah has officially informed the family of Ahmad Balout, a Radwan Force commander, that he was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Dahieh several days ago. Balout was 38 years old, considered very young for such a senior position within Hezbollah. Lebanese sources note that Israeli targeted assassinations of senior Hezbollah commanders are forcing the organization to promote increasingly younger officers to leadership roles.
