Hezbollah launches two drones at IDF forces in southern Lebanon, one downed

Hezbollah launched two explosive drones overnight Thursday toward IDF forces operating in the Ali Taher Ridge area within the security zone in southern Lebanon. IDF soldiers fired and downed one drone, while contact was lost with the second. No casualties were reported among Israeli forces. In response, Israeli fighter jets struck multiple villages in southern Lebanon including Sarbin, Yater, Al-Mansouri, Zutar, and Mifdoun, as well as the Ali al-Taher ridge. The IDF stated it will not allow Hezbollah to operate against its forces in the security zone.
