Hezbollah MP lays out detailed ceasefire conditions, rejects direct Israel talks

Ali Fayyad, a Hezbollah Member of Parliament, outlined comprehensive conditions for the ceasefire, stating it must be full and comprehensive with continued strikes or assassinations constituting violations. He demanded Israel's withdrawal, an end to hostilities, and the return of displaced persons, asserting that Israeli presence on Lebanese soil grants the right to resist. Fayyad rejected direct negotiations with Israel but expressed willingness to reach understandings with the Lebanese government on outstanding issues, including weapons. He stated that a 10-day period will not suffice.
