Hilltop Youth Protest in Jerusalem, Block String Bridge

The String Bridge was intermittently blocked Sunday evening as members of the Hilltop Youth staged a protest against recent IDF conduct in the West Bank. The demonstrators expressed outrage over what they described as the army’s use of live fire against settlers and accused the military of adopting “progressive” policies that endanger Jewish residents. The protest caused traffic delays in and around the entrance to Jerusalem. Police were deployed to the scene and worked to keep the road partially open.
