IDF 98th Division expands ground operations in Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon

The IDF's 98th Division, comprising Paratroopers, Commando, and Givati Brigades, has expanded targeted ground operations against Hezbollah infrastructure in the Bint Jbeil area of southern Lebanon. Over the past week, troops surrounded Hezbollah military sites and eliminated over 100 Hezbollah operatives through close-quarters combat and airstrikes. The forces dismantled dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites and located hundreds of weapons, including arms positioned in and around civilian areas. The operations aim to strengthen forward defense and protect Israeli civilians from further attacks.
