IDF and Border Police seize 26 handguns at eastern border

IDF soldiers and Border Police thwarted an attempt to smuggle 26 handguns across Israel's eastern border overnight Wednesday. Operating with guidance from field observers, forces conducted searches near the border in Judea and Samaria and located a bag containing the handguns and ammunition. The seized weapons were transferred to Judea and Samaria District Police for processing. Israeli security forces remain deployed along the eastern border to safeguard citizens.
