IDF and ISA Dismantle Hamas Cell, Seize Rocket in West Bank Operation

Israeli security forces completed a counterterrorism operation in Akraba, Judea and Samaria, apprehending a Hamas terrorist cell of ten operatives who were planning attacks against Israeli civilians. During the operation, forces located and dismantled a rocket without a launcher. Following interrogation, one terrorist revealed a weapons cache containing an M16 rifle and a large quantity of explosives intended for producing explosive devices, which were also dismantled on site. The IDF states security forces will continue proactive operations throughout Judea and Samaria to thwart terrorism and safeguard Israeli residents and civilians.
