IDF Chief of Staff condemns film "NAZA" as attack on Israel's legitimacy

IDF Chief of the General Staff LTG Eyal Zamir held a consultation Monday regarding the film "NAZA," with senior military commanders including the Deputy Chief of Staff, heads of operations and intelligence, and the Military Advocate General. Zamir stated the film constitutes a deliberate attempt to undermine the legitimacy of the IDF and Israel, calling it "based on blood libels, deliberate distortions of reality, and grave, false accusations against IDF soldiers and commanders." He emphasized the IDF operates according to international law and maintains a lower ratio of civilian casualties to combatants than other militaries. Zamir said the film "adopts the narratives of those who hate Israel" and seeks to portray the IDF as deliberately acting unlawfully, placing soldiers and commanders at genuine risk. He called for a broad national and international public diplomacy effort in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
