IDF Chief of Staff dismisses former Military Advocate General over Sde Teiman affair

IDF Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir has dismissed the former Military Advocate General from service in connection with the Sde Teiman affair. The officer was immediately suspended when suspicions arose. Due to prolonged criminal proceedings and the severity of alleged actions, Zamir decided to proceed with dismissal without further delay. The former official will not receive service completion benefits. The Chief of Staff indicated a rank demotion may be considered once criminal proceedings conclude. The Defense Minister has been informed of the decision.
