IDF Chief of Staff Orders Additional Battalion to Qusra Area

The IDF Chief of the General Staff conducted a situational assessment Wednesday with senior commanders regarding ongoing events in the Qusra area. He ordered the deployment of an additional infantry battalion to strengthen operational control and prevent further serious incidents. The battalion, currently in training, will be sent to reinforce the sector, with more soldiers on standby for deployment if needed. The operation is being conducted jointly with Israel Police and ISA to restore order, maintain security, and bring those responsible for disturbances to justice. The Chief of Staff also directed that all soldiers in Judea and Samaria be briefed on rules of conduct and use of force during such incidents.
