IDF Chief of Staff oversees Gaza Division exercise focused on October 7th lessons

IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir visited a large-scale Gaza Division command exercise on Tuesday, accompanied by senior commanders including Southern Command Commander MG Yaniv Asor and Gaza Division Commander BG Liron Batito. The exercise, developed based on lessons from October 7th, simulated defensive and offensive scenarios aimed at defeating the enemy. Zamir stated the division must ensure such a failure never happens again, emphasizing strengthened defenses, reinforced troops, and high alertness levels. He stressed the need to prepare for every scenario, maintain operational readiness, and ensure orders are implemented at every military outpost to prevent future attacks and enable democratic elections without external interference.
