IDF Chief of Staff vows continued operations against Hamas, pursuit of October 7th perpetrators
IDF Chief of the General Staff LTG Eyal Zamir stated during an operational assessment in Gaza that Israel has significantly weakened Hamas and fundamentally changed the security reality in the Strip. "We will not allow a threat to emerge on our borders like the one we experienced during the October 7th massacre," he said. Zamir pledged to continue pursuing those responsible for the October 7th attack, stating "we will not relent until we bring every person who played a part in it to justice." He conducted the assessment with Southern Command and division commanders, touring the Gaza Strip and meeting with troops operating in the area.
