IDF Chief of Staff vows no return to pre-October 7 posture

IDF Chief of the General Staff LTG Eyal Zamir conducted a field tour in Gaza on Tuesday, stating the military will not allow enemies to rebuild strength along Israel's borders. "We will not allow terrorist infrastructure to become entrenched. We will seize every opportunity to eliminate threats while they are still taking shape," Zamir said during a discussion with brigade and battalion commanders. He emphasized that the IDF has changed its approach and "will not return to October 6th." Zamir added that the pursuit of October 7th terrorists continues, saying "everyone who took part in the massacre will live on the run until they are eliminated."
