Talal Mustafa Salah Badawi, a commander in Hamas's military security division for Gaza City, was killed in an airstrike two days ago, the Israeli military announced Wednesday.
According to the IDF, both operatives had recently been advancing terror plots targeting Israeli military forces and civilians, and were working to rebuild the organization's capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire agreement. The military stated that the strike was carried out to remove an immediate threat.
An IDF spokesperson said that "IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed throughout the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat."
