IDF discovers weapons cache in Lebanon hospital used by Hezbollah

Givati Brigade soldiers discovered a weapons cache inside a government hospital in Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon, after identifying Hezbollah terrorist activity at the facility over the past week. Several Hezbollah terrorists were spotted conducting surveillance from a hospital window and firing at IDF soldiers, prompting troops to eliminate them. Approximately 20 terrorists were eliminated within the hospital compound to remove the immediate threat. The IDF stated Hezbollah systematically used the hospital for transferring and storing weapons, observation posts, and sheltering operatives. The military said it warned Lebanese authorities prior to the operation that all military activity within hospitals must cease, but Hezbollah continued using the facility for military purposes in violation of international law.
