IDF dismantles eight tunnel routes in southern Gaza, completes Negev Brigade mission
The IDF's Negev Brigade has completed a months-long operation in southern Gaza, dismantling eight underground tunnel routes totaling over 2.5 kilometers used by Hamas. One tunnel was part of the eastern Rafah terror infrastructure network, where Hamas terrorists were eliminated during engineering operations inside the tunnel. The brigade concluded its seventh deployment since the war began and is being replaced by Paratroopers Brigade troops. IDF forces remain deployed in the area under the ceasefire framework to remove immediate threats.
