IDF dismantles extensive Hezbollah underground infrastructure in southern Lebanon
IDF soldiers completed dismantling underground routes in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area within the Security Zone after establishing operational control over the ridge. The operation neutralized over two kilometers of terrorist infrastructure containing dozens of Iranian-made rockets, missiles, UAVs, machine guns, anti-tank missiles, and hundreds of mines and explosive devices. A central command complex belonging to Hezbollah's "Badr" Unit was located within the infrastructure, featuring command centers, weapon storage rooms, and living quarters enabling extended underground operations. The strategic infrastructure was constructed over two decades with Iranian funding and planning.
