IDF downs Hezbollah drone in southern Lebanon, second drone lost

Hezbollah launched two explosive-laden drones overnight Thursday toward IDF troops operating in the Ali Taher Ridge area in southern Lebanon's security zone. IDF forces shot down one drone while contact was lost with the second. No casualties were reported among Israeli forces. The IDF stated it will not allow Hezbollah to act against its troops and will continue operating forcefully against the organization's attempts to harm Israeli forces.
