IDF eliminates 70 targets, 30+ terrorists in week of northern operations

IDF soldiers operating in northern Israel eliminated approximately 70 terror targets and more than 30 terrorists over the past week, according to military officials. On Saturday, a terrorist who approached IDF soldiers was eliminated by the Israeli Air Force following identification of an imminent threat. Separately, the Air Force intercepted several rockets in southern Lebanon where troops are operating; no sirens were sounded per protocol. The IDF says it will continue operations against threats to Israeli civilians and soldiers in accordance with political directives.
