IDF eliminates Hamas cell planning imminent attacks in central Gaza

IDF troops under Southern Command struck and eliminated a Hamas terrorist cell planning imminent attacks against Israeli forces in central Gaza on Thursday, acting on ISA intelligence. Among those killed were Hazem Rami Ali Aidi, a cell commander who infiltrated Israel on October 7; Ibrahim Mansour, a platoon commander who led attacks throughout the war and was involved in Hamas force reconstitution in violation of the ceasefire; and Maher Tantawi, a military intelligence operative. The military said precautions were taken to minimize civilian harm, including precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
