IDF Eliminates Hamas Commander Involved in Holding Hostages in Gaza City

The IDF struck in the Gaza City area earlier this week, eliminating Muhammad Muhsen Nimr Yazji, a commander in Hamas' Shati Battalion. Throughout the war, Yazji was involved in holding hostages in the Gaza City Brigade area, including Emily Damari, Romi Gonen, and Matan Angrest. In a separate strike on Tuesday in the Sabra area, the IDF eliminated Muhammad Fawzi Muhammad Awad Gamal, a terrorist in Hamas' Daraj Tuffah Battalion. Both terrorists recently advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians while working to restore Hamas' capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. The strikes used precise munitions with steps taken to mitigate civilian harm.
